I’m just a big nothing
Just a student craving for her teaching
Sitting while she speaks, barely listening
Trying to absorb every word being spoken.
I am not certain if I’m good
‘Cause I can’t even count the errors I make
But she doesn’t bother
She still talks, explains, and let’s me understand.
I’m not her son
But she still cares for me
She even ask how I am doing
And when she knows I need help, she’s always at will.
She’s not my mom
But she acts like one, and I don’t know why
She does some expense from her own pocket
And satisfies my hunger when I look frail.
I’m a huge nothing and I’m not good
I’m not her son and she’s not my mom either
But with what she did and what I understood
I always call MA’AM, but I wanted her to be my MOM.
For all the Teachers who showed their love and care
I know this is not enough but it’s the simplest way I can do
To say thank you and I love you
I’ll be missing you… my ma’am, my mom…
